A mixture of good and sad news for Furano this week. Sadly the he town of Furano awoke to it's first decent snow fall of the 2007/2008 season.

The good news is that it's getting very very cold. There's been a lack of precipitaion which has meant no more snow, however snow is forecaset for tonight.

The sad news it that fire has gutted a local precinct and amongst the businesses destroyed by far the Kitsutsuki Bar has been damaged

It's very sad to hear this bar has been damaged and its future is uncertain.
