Snow is on and off, crowds are low, and it's soooo much fun.

That's the catch cry we've been hearding from so many guest recently. Furano is quiet this weekend, which is surprising given that it's a public holiday on Monday.

However, the mountain is fully operational, and we're expecting fresh snow Monday through Thursday.

In the Kitanomine Zone on Sunday there is a ski and snowbaord event atarting at 1230, so go and cheer on the competitors and see them skiing the gates like champions!

Monday is SKI DAY! Yes, a special SKI DAY. Lift tickets are reduced prices, Children ski for free and Adults are 3200 Yen.

Look out for the Army crew as well. Again, as they do every year, the beginners are now starting to improve and cover more of the mountain. Give them a wave and say "Gambare" to encourage them!

Enjoy the 80's retro ski outfits of the hundreds of Japanese skiers on this beautiful mountain

Don't forget to get in a good bowl at Aeru in town

Then visit Nobu at Bar Bocco for a good yarn and some nice refreshments and killer tunes.
