Access to foreign exchange services in Kitanomine, Furano.

In previous winters it has been a hassle for guests to access cash in Furano. We run a Travelex Foreign Exchange Service here at the hotel to ease the pain of access to cash. Up until now the only location to withdraw money has been the Furano Central Post Office; which has early closing times and is inconvenient.

This has all changed now thanks to Seven Bank; aka 711. The Kitanomine 711 now accepts international debit and credit cards so you can withdraw cash from an international bank account. For detailed information click HERE.

There are a few things you need to be aware of:

1: You must have a debit card to withdraw from an international bank account. A credit card that works domestically at ATM's and for EFTPOS to charge a savings account will not work internationally. If you want to use a credit card, this will be a credit cashing service (aka cash advance).

2: The amount you can withdraw is limited to multiples of 10,000 Yen bills, up to your daily limit as regulated by your financial institution.

The Kitanomine 711 is located 5 minutes walk from the North Country Inn and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
