June 27th, 2007

Flowers are out. Hayazaki (Early Flowering) Lavender is out, and the snow is all melted. Today is a nice 27 degrees, with the cloud cover of the past few days lifted and the sun heating up again. Here at North, we're currently full most nights, and expect 100% occupation for the next 2 months. If you are interested in staying with us, then please email Lee ASAP to get your booking in.

Here we have our garden bed in early May, and now look what we have in late June! Thank you Okusan for planting such beautiful flowers.

The fields in between us and the Furano ski zone and a dense rich forest. I thought about hiking the Kitanomine Peak, but colleagues have warned me about bears, and I think i'll pass.

Crops planted early May; what will it be?

Our nextdoor neighbour planted wheat! Here you can see it's getting very tall.

Hot air balloon rides are very popular, most mornings through summer.
