Today is the first day of Cherry Blossoms (Sakura) in Furano. The mountains are instantly glowing in colour. Sadly rain is forecast for this afternoon and again on Sunday which could dampen the Sakura season. With snow still on the mountains, it's a beautiful transition period between Winter and Summer.
